About me
I’m a single mama of two wonderful and complex humans, and have been crafting for most of my life. I was raised here in Oregon, and often incorporate local products into my creations.
As a teenager, I was trained to repair shoes in a tiny cobbler shop in Cedar Mill, Oregon, and I still sew many of my heavier leather projects on the old treadle machine that my friend gifted me when he finally retired.
I live close to the Pendleton Woolen Mill store, and often can be found rummaging through their scrap bins. I source my beeswax from local farmers when possible, upcycle all of my Cashmere and sweater knits, and am known throughout my community as the person to take felted/damaged sweaters to for a new chance at life.
I take great pride in upcycling and using all natural and non-toxic materials in as many of my creations as possible, hoping to create a little less of an impact on our environment, while also creating cozy and practical items.
My products are often created due to a need in my own life, and I therefore have many different creations to offer. They have all been thoroughly tested by my family and community, and I stand proudly behind everything that I make.
